For those that like to stock up their wine cabinet with a few bottles from the supermarket I noticed Sainsbury's have the 25% off (if you buy 6 bottles) deal on at the moment.

Ordered a bottle of red with my Waitrose order (organised by daughter no. 2.) Apparently, it was a few quid short of the amount for free delivery so she upped my order to 2 bottles. Result.

Morrisons have a nice little deal on at the moment with a 6 bottle box of wine from £30.
Got a box of Campo Viejo Rioja Tempranillo and a box of Trivento Malbec for £30 each.
Not bad at £5per bottle for a couple of supermarket decent wines in my view.
I know some like 19 crimes that was also in the deal but £36 for a box, still good value.
Had a Chilean white but not one I've tried, not sure if any others in the deal.
Well Christmas is coming

I used to love my wine but for some reason I prefer a pint of bitter at the moment. Haven't had a glass of wine for ages.

I enjoy both John, beer its real ales for me.
Wine usually share a bottle with Mrs SW if we are in at weekends (that is a bottle each night fri, sat & sun).
Don't drink midweek unless watching football then its a beer while Mrs SW has a G & T.
If we go out its usually for a meal so its usually a beer followed by a bottle of wine.
With both beer & wine enjoy trying different ones but of course have a good few favourites.

Some time back we got a mystery box of wines from around the world.
Anyway last night we had a bottle of Merlot from Moldova.
Well didn't expect much but was superb a real quality wine up there with the best we've tried.
"chateau bartley dealu nucului merlot"
Will certainly be looking out for more Moldovan Wines.
