About the Valencia CF rumour:
I got my doubts for these reasons:
- The total debt of Valencia it's far over the own Radrizanni fortune. Only the stadium (and not considering the unfinished "Nou Mestalla" since 13 years) costs 200M.
- The Lims fortune it's far superior over the Radrizzani's.
- La Liga TV rights revenues are totally unbalanced in favour of Real Madrid, Barça, a little for Atlético and the another clubs gets a joke of money. Today, investing seriously in a spanish club it's not profitable at short term.
Another possibility it's he plans to convert Valencia onto a new Salzburg who provides Leipzig, and Leeds being a sort of RedBull franchise, very unlikely

Sunday morning surfing took me to the Aser Ventures website. AR being the Chairman and founder obviously has numerous interests but there he is in the "Team" section not sat in suit behind some boardroom table but perched on a desk giving the Leeds salute.

Re: Investment
If I was an investor and was looking at the PL, Leeds would be my first choice. One team city, great fanbase, great manager, dedicated players. It's a no brainer and I am convinced it will happen. We could be one of those top 6 clubs without a doubt. Holding on to Marcelo will be a big factor IMO. We are competing now with little investment. Imagine a big backer...

Well things are so positive at present maybe sooner than many thought possible not so long ago.phil62 wrote: We could be one of those top 6 clubs without a doubt.
Was thinking about that the other day as I really expect him to leave after this season pleased with the fact he had completed the job he came to do.phil62 wrote:Holding on to Marcelo will be a big factor IMO.
However then I thought what If we exceed even our own pre-season expectations and actually qualified for Europe, would he want a crack at the European elite ?

Slowly and surely LUFC are moving in the right direction and building very solid foundations it seems to me.NottinghamWhite wrote:£50m for around 20% would value the club at £250m.

That position would look about right. IMO, only Newcastle could overtake us if properly managed.Leicester White wrote:That puts us up to 11th in this table of club valuesNottinghamWhite wrote:£50m for around 20% would value the club at £250m.

Wolves might be at their best ever position, while Leicester certainly are.
