Curious point made by journalist Ben Cross of Leeds Live about Oliver Casey making his senior debut on Saturday. He implies that Bielsa is heavily influenced by the first team players attitude to the player in question is key to them being selected (aside from ability, I assume!).

How Bielsa knew Casey was mentally ready for today: "One clear fact is when his team-mates accept him or not. The group has a sixth sense to realise which players they want close to them or not." Got the thumbs up from his team-mates in training. #lufc

Is Bielsa encouraging this approach by the first team players or is he just accepting the inevitable outcome of having a small, tight playing squad?

Is this normal? Is it a good thing?
