Good list.NottinghamWhite wrote:Mind Stoke or Ipswich still not sure.
I'd have Stoke but the one I don't consider "big" is Blackburn despite they won the Prem with Jack Walkers money.
Ipswich is a good call.

I wouldn't have Blackburn in. They've never done anything in my lifetime, apart from that period under Jack Walker. Which is quite some time ago now.
I'd pick Stoke if it was a choice between them and West Brom. Stoke were a very good team when I was a young kid. Shilton in goal, Jimmy Greenhoff upfront, Alan Hudson running the midfield, and various animals and nutcases at the back.
Remember, It was Stoke who put an end to our unbeaten run when we won the title in '74 - and we were some side then.
Stoke won the League Cup in the early-70s as well and often used to do well in the league. I think they finished third one year. West Brom were good under Ron Atkinson but I'm not sure I'd rate them above Stoke in general. I'd probably put Birmingham ahead of WBA actually.
