Can't remember what it was but saw (on tv) Dennis Taylor playing in a match. He was awful, missing loads of very easy pots. After every miss he was cracking jokes to cover his embarrassment. Hope he has been practising for this one.
I once played against Don Revie.

Barry Pinches won't be easy so you could be right.johnh wrote:Can't remember what it was but saw (on tv) Dennis Taylor playing in a match. He was awful, missing loads of very easy pots. After every miss he was cracking jokes to cover his embarrassment. Hope he has been practising for this one.

When we were at the Crucible a few years ago, the main game finished early, so we were treated to an exhibition match between Taylor and Peter Ebdon, with John Virgo commentating, it was hilarious and still remains one of our highlights from our many visits there over the years.johnh wrote:Can't remember what it was but saw (on tv) Dennis Taylor playing in a match. Just been reading about the seniors world championship and Jimmy White has won it last two years.
Beat Darren Morgan 5-2 in 2019 and last year Ken Doherty 5-4 (Ken was 4-0 up).

Some cracking games over the last few days, personally I hope Kyren Wilson gets past Murphy and takes the title, but Selby has been phenomenal so far.

Selby does look the pick hasn't put a foot wrong but all have played amazing at times.Barlow Boy wrote:Some cracking games over the last few days, personally I hope Kyren Wilson gets past Murphy and takes the title, but Selby has been phenomenal so far.
Bingham finished strong against McGill, Murphy was unplayable in the afternoon session yesterday but nearly blew it last night.
Wilson did well to beat Robertson that's no easy task.
Anyone's title with Selby slight favorite.

What a bonus for those with a ticket for tonight’s semi final between Wilson and Murphy, currently locked at 12-12, they now get the conclusion of the match between Selby and Bingham, currently 16-15.
