Must admit given the chance I'd go back to Argentina, really enjoyed BA and the area around it and would like to visit other parts of the country.NottinghamWhite wrote:Yes we visited it last time (2013) we were in Buenos AiresSelby White wrote:

First time we visited we flew to Salta in the north west corner of the country, beautiful place close to the Andes. On several days we were in high altitude, the highest was over 14000 feet above sea level. Stunning scenery it really was.Selby White wrote:

We went on our own steam rather than a tour so just based in BA but used trains for day trips to a few surrounding areas (Tigre was one nice place I remember where we did a river trip).NottinghamWhite wrote:First time we visited we flew to Salta in the north west corner of the country, beautiful place close to the Andes. The Train network isn't great so if we do get to go again it'll be buses to get further afield.
Have looked into it and Salta is on the list of places to visit also really want to go to Iguaza Falls in the north east, some big distances to cover.
Just need to get rid of Covid

Re: Where am I ?
We stood one day high up at the base of the Andes & our guide pointed out that we could see Paraguay, Chile & Bolivia. We visited some salt flats that were home to hundreds of thousands of flamingos & were warned we needed to be back in the vehicles by midday as that was when the winds hit the pans & you could be blinded by the salt. At exactly 12 noon the wind did indeed come looking like a cyclone but we were safely in the mini bus.,

The Castle is doing my head in but have visited lots, would wild guess Warwick but not sure.
The coast shot I think is looking towards Filey from the south.
Not Warwick.
Ariel shot is correct.
