Perhaps worth considering How many we induct this year... for me, 18-20 seems about right and if we go too many, it may defeat the purpose as virtually everyone on the list ends up with the honour.

LW
We are only doing one per month, usually around end of month (just a few days late with Gordon).

Initially it was one per week to get it started (first 10) but now just each month does someone get voted in.

Even though I nominated Albert Johannson for inclusion on the list of inductees, mainly for his personal achievements, today I voted for Trevor Cherry ahead of Albert.I voted for Trevor because of his services to Leeds United. 486 appearances for Leeds and 27 England caps.
Originally signed from Huddersfield to take over from Jack Charlton upon his retirement, out of necessity he took over the left back position after Terry Cooper broke his leg, and Cooper's very adequate back up Nigel Davy also seriously injured on the same day as Cooper. I think Trevor Cherry's overall contribution to the team equaled Cooper's, maybe not in the overlapping attacking role Cooper perfected, but in his all around defensive duties.
Coming from Huddersfield into a team of superstars, he won us over with his hard graft combined with skill and intelligence. So much that he took over as Captain after Billy Bremner retired. After the Revie team grew old and faded, a trail of big name players came and left in the 1970's, some contributed well, some were duds, but Trevor and a couple of other 'Core' players kept us in the top flight for a few more years.
