2-0 win for Team GB Ladies over Chile this morning, never in doubt was always the stronger side.

Think the other group games with Japan & Canada may prove tougher.

Elsewhere Sweden beat USA 3-0, thought USA where favourites

Ex Leeds United striker scored the first goal I believe. Just checked she played 19 times for us scoring 21 goals, some strike rate that.

Got them both today
Also had one ruled out for offside, to be fair she was off.

Telegraph today says Olympics 'may be cancelled'. Japan battling to contain a rising number of Games-related infections.

It said on the match commentary the GB team are been kept in a hotel under armed guards so they can't come into contact with Japanese Citizens, interesting as they have Japan in their group.

The Japanese have sacked the Opening ceremony director because he told a Anti Sematic joke while working as a comedian in 1998.
Follows the sacking of the games music composer because he'd bullied someone at school.

Just watching Mexico v France in the Mens football.

Bit of Bielsa ball by the Mexicans pressing the French all over the pitch and currently leading 2-0.

Penalty to France could be good finish.

Chris Wood is playing for New Zealand's Olympic side today, currently 0-0 with South Korea.
Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.
