First house
How much was your first home ? Mine was £6600 for a three storey mid terrace. Sold it 4 years later & bought a semi for £17000.

Nomadic lifestyle. Always rented.
Re: First house
3 bed semi in Farnley Leeds. £1750 (1959). Can still remember the mortgage repayments - £10. 8. 6. per month. Like a millstone round my neck!
I once played against Don Revie.

Re: First house
£8200 semi detached as John says the mortgage repayments gave me sleepless nights.
Re: First house
1985 £16750 sold it 4 years later for just over 19K and thought we did well.
Just so happens I'm now in the process of looking at buying as a first time buyer again.

1980 Barratt one-bedroom starter home in Oakwood, a suburb of Derby, for £10,500. Looked recently and they sell for ~£53,000 these days.
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....
