We've already been to a couple of Xmas dinners where we had the traditional turkey so got a Pork joint to roast.

Not bothering with starters.

Roast Pork, Roast Spuds, Parsnips, Carrots, Sprouts and stuffing.

Christmas Pud & Custard (was going to have sherry triffle but we just ate it for lunch today :D )

Got bottle of Champagne to help wash it down.

When I lived in Torquay we used to take Italian students in during the summer as my then wife couldn’t work as she had the kids to look after. They thought it was disgusting having fruit with meat it was totally alien to them.

Absolutely non-traditional here, we prefer to have something we really enjoy as it's just the two of us.

On the 25th we've got oysters followed by confit du canard with red cabbage and tarte tatin for dessert. A bottle of Spanish cava to begin with followed by an Austrian blauburgunder.

26th will be more traditional with roast lamb, cauliflower and Yorkshire pudding accompanied by a Chilean pinot noir. Even got Christmas pudding to finish.
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

It's CHRISTMAS DINNER!!!!

Going to daughter's so don't know in detail but there will be: Turkey, roast pots, sprouts, pigs in blanket, plus whatever delicacies daughter dreams up.

Hope everyone has a dinner to remember.
