We have a staff room that’s the responsibility for our trainee Mod BB to keep tidy. All I can say is no wonder he retired early if his cleaning duties inside said room are anything to go by We’ve now moved into the 21st century & have a WhatsApp group where we can now make group decisions & today despite been Christmas Day a quick decision was made on banning a member earlier. So we try & be as fair as we can so none of us can become trigger happy on the ban button.

Has has been said modding on here is easy 99% but it does have its moments. I’ve held the position on here for the last 11 years & believe we’ve had our moments. About 3 years ago the site was attacked by Eastern European porn merchants & the site was full of unbelievable imagery ( not that I got to see much as for every post I deleted another bugga appeared ) Then there was months of kitchen fitters spamming the board, who knew there was so many of ‘em. Luckily now with sharing ideas we can usually spot a spammer by their email addy or IP address so very few slip through the net these days.

I miss Graham & Bogdans input & were it not for them there would be no Talk. We must be generating enough income through the Google botts that appear in the registered users at the bottom of the page ( beyond my comprehension if I’m totally honest ) to keep the site running thus not having to seek Contributors.

Finally I’d also like to acknowledge SW for the fantastic work he puts into the games section & Deebo for oiling the machinery & keeping the prediction league going. Davy does his share of technical stuff as well.

Please keep the quality posts coming, Talk is only as good as it’s members. I still believe in the forums ethos.
