Re: Bielsa sacked - have the Club made the right decision?
One thing that has not really been mentioned is on the impact Bielsa had on attracting quality younger and ambitious players to the club. I am sure many of the quality signings, especially the U23's, was due to players wanting to be trained by Bielsa, a no brainer for players wanting to progress. I think attracting the right players has taken a major step back and makes the aim of competing with the "big 6" in a few years look a hell of a lot harder.

I dunno mate, that is all a bit bleak a forecast, completely understandable of course. I dare say that the board would consider Prem survival more important than the future recruitment, plus the fact that we are/hope to continue being, a healthy top tier club is more than enough appeal for youngsters to sign. Orta has been a big part of all the signings too.TelfordLeeds wrote:One thing that has not really been mentioned is on the impact Bielsa had on attracting quality younger and ambitious players to the club. I have a quick question to ask you all..........
Do you think that Bielsa will be watching (as and when he can ) all of our remaining games this season and beyond that?
