The more the merrier exiting the club for me, apart from Ross and a few others, Murphy and some of the youngsters with possible potential. We need a complete overall of the playing staff, we need to rid ourselves of the negativity that's in this team. A lot of new and enthusiastic faces are needed. It might take a full year to see them gel together, for a promotion push in 2015/16 but if that's what it takes, so be it.Aaron wrote:Would still like to see Hunt go along with Norris.
Kenny also likely to go, getting them three off the wage bill will free up a decent amount I should think. I bet they're all on good deals, especially Kenny and Hunt.
Squad discussion - keep or sell?

We are Leeds, we have to believe our new players are good enough, encourage and support them and help them grow in to a team to be reckoned with. MoT

Pretty happy with every single player released thus far, would like to see peltier, Kenny, Norris, Hunt and Morison go, I think the main problem is we are over paying these players in terms of the quality of what they are worth which seems to have been the case for us for as long as I can remember when I comes to players.
I can see and agree with everyones arguments in terms of Pugh and especially brown you can never accuse them of not trying or sherking out of a tackle but I think its time we went in a new direction and brought in some younger faces with more legs and on less wages.

Totally agree with all of this mate, get rid of the old and bring in the new, for a fresh start.jjrgreeney wrote:Pretty happy with every single player released thus far, would like to see peltier, Kenny, Norris, Hunt and Morison go, I think the main problem is we are over paying these players in terms of the quality of what they are worth which seems to have been the case for us for as long as I can remember when I comes to players.

What about buying these players?
Scott Carson
Aaron Lennon - Rio Ferdinand - Jonathan Woodgate - Danny Rose
Fabian Delph - Jonathan Howson - James Milner - Max Gradel
Jermaine Beckford - Robert Snodgrass

excluding beckford I would have nay of them back, I don't think beckford has proven his worth at championship level.
Could Ferdinand be the experience at the back we have been missing?
that been said we do need to look beyond players who have played for us in the past and start looking forward so im in a complete muddle with my thoughts on it all .

I know, it's always better to look forward. But if we bought all of these players - I on the other hand wouldn't have said no...jjrgreeney wrote:alwaysleeds wrote:What about buying these players?

Re: Squad discussion - keep or sell?
I'd switch Milner to right back, Delph to central midfield and Lennon to right midfield.alwaysleeds wrote:What about buying these players?

Rio is injury prone. We should never buy injury prone players.jjrgreeney wrote:alwaysleeds wrote:What about buying these players?

We wouldn't be buying him as he is out of contract
