Hello,
I've just joined. From West Yorkshire. Lifelong (mainly armchair) fan/supporter. Veteran of 1996/97 season when I was almost bored to death. Hope to have some good discussions on here.
Just to pre-empt one point, for those not aware, Gascoigne is a traditional Yorkshire name that came over in the Norman Conquest. Nothing to do with the very famous and brilliant footballer in this instance.
Thanks,
Gascoigne

Re: Hello
Welcome
Always thought Gascoigne was of French origin but more in the South of this country ?
Thought Yorkshire region names were more influenced by the Vikings.
I live and learn.
