I apologize again for reading the DM - let's face it everyone needs some light entertainment!
However, what do we think - will he be welcome? Would a McCormick Becchio front pair bring in the much needed wins? Personally I still think we strengthen defense and Diouf's salary is an ongoing cost.

Re: Becchio back to Leeds?
Looks like an old article, but I don't think I would have him back.
That said, If Becchio did one day return it would be a boost for the fans and sort of nice. But making the decision purely on football, I think its a no from me.
Besides, Alan Smith is in front of him in the queue.
I'll have Snoddy back though in a heartbeat.

Snoddy for sure would be fantastic alas not likely. The DM article is a bit old but there were lots of media swirls about it last night. Middlesborough, Leeds and Charlton were the 3 being considered.
Smithy yes but only without the highlights!!

I would like Becchio back, he's a quality striker at championship level.
We are Leeds, we have to believe our new players are good enough, encourage and support them and help them grow in to a team to be reckoned with. MoT

Same here Ace , he could make that difference up front ...

He is one of those players like McCormack, who seemed to effect the game most matches, either scoring or creating, he was everything that Varney wasn't IMO.leeds1970 wrote:Same here Ace , he could make that difference up front ...

Only thing is lads, we haven't a bob and how much is he on per week even if he was to come on loan?

Sorry for my stammering finger!

We can't afford diddly squat unless Cellino takes over. How long is the loan transfer window open?Independent Republic wrote:leeds1970 wrote:Same here Ace , he could make that difference up front ...
