After a post from owlstalk saying "First Barkley, now Wickham," or along those lines, I hope we don't play him on the wing and end up not getting the best out of him like with Barkley ;).
But McDermott's not as dim as Warnock.
Called it. :P
Signed for his long throws to smith!!

Best player on the pitch. As I said after Burnley, converted into a hod carrier for Smith. If we had any aspiration to sign him at some point forget it he'll want to go somewhere where he's appreciated/plays No.9.

I'd disagree with that summary NW, he has been very good in his all round play. And they haven't called him back because he's rubbish have they? :D

Eh? He's been outstanding, mate. He may not have scored, but I think he's been a great improvement and influence on our game while he's been here.

Assume his recall is due to Steven Fletcher's injury. Their next game is Liverpool and Borini must sit that out, so they must have found themselves short, I guess. Just bad luck for us (once more, after Blackstock).

It's a shame that, hopefully Cellino will take over and we get him again for next year. It's hard for any player to come in to a team that's playing poorly like we have been and to look like a superstar. I think he's done well under the circumstances.
We are Leeds, we have to believe our new players are good enough, encourage and support them and help them grow in to a team to be reckoned with. MoT
