Byram came on and did nothing. :wtf:
We are Leeds, we have to believe our new players are good enough, encourage and support them and help them grow in to a team to be reckoned with. MoT

To be completely fair, Messi wouldn't have had an effect in such a short appearance :D

Was impressed with Wickham today, I remember watching him play for Ipswich and the difference now with him is how he has bulked out. Can see him scoring a few goals for us.

I know mate, just jesting. We needed him on long before that, he could have changed the game for us, someone needs to give BM the strong word over Kebe.

Yes, he was dangerous and has good size and strength. He won't be muscled off the ball much.

It was long enough for Smith to make an impact at Hillsborough!

He looks real quality, if we can get him on a full contract, he is good enough for the premiership and England IMO.

Wickham looked good today, a very good signing. When we got into dangerous positions, him and McCormack linked up well today, can see him scoring a couple v Bolton.

Wickham looked a world beater when the Owls murdered us at Hillsborough, looks nothing like the player I saw that day now he is playing under McDermott, mindst playing him on left wing doesn't help his game. Our new striker spent more time defending than running at the opposition & making things happen, in fact both our main strikers ended up playing in midfield.

Brian knows what he is doing

SiMamu wrote:Great signing, as stated by DM, perfect foil for McCormack. Season's looking better but we do need to improve our quality of football. After a post from owlstalk saying "First Barkley, now Wickham," or along those lines, I hope we don't play him on the wing and end up not getting the best out of him like with Barkley ;).
But McDermott's not as dim as Warnock.
Called it. :P
