Colin Grainger: The Singing Winger

Grainger played for Sunderland, Sheffield United, Leeds United, Port Vale and Wrexham, in addition to playing seven times for the full England national team (1956-57). He scored twice in his debut in a 4-2 victory against Brazil and was close friends with Duncan Edwards. During Grainger's playing career, he sang professionally and once toured the UK with The Beatles (1963).

Grainger played 41 times for Leeds United in the 1960-61 season.
