Footballer's Progress

Carter managed Leeds United from 1953-1958, gaining promotion from the old second division. He built his successful team around John Charles. Also managed Don Revie as a player, and had a strong impact on him.

This book details Carter's earlier playing career, and doesn't include his time at Leeds United.
