About this book
Jock Stein: The Definitive Biography
A portrait of one of the most influential managers in the history of British football, Jock Stein. He was the first British manager, in 1967, to win the European Cup and by the time of his death in 1985 he had become a legend. The author reappraises Stein's career and looks closely at his personality.
Jock Stein managed Leeds United for just 44 days and ten games in 1978, before taking the job of managing Scotland. There are many other books featuring Stein, too numerous to mention here considering his short time at the club.
