Jabba's Comments |
Roy Kirk played in just about every position bar goalkeeper for
Leeds in the early 1950s, but he failed to make any one position his
own. He moved to Coventry in March 1952, and found himself a regular
starter in the side for 9 years. Cambridge were a non-league side when
he arrived, and he spent 3 years in charge, helping to set them on the
road that lead to their election to the Football League in 1970.
He died in 1984.
Hannah says: Roy Kirk is my grandad's cousin!
