Jabba's Comments |
Batey won an FA Cup winners medal with Preston. He guested for Leeds
several times during the war, signing on full-time when peace was restored.
He only stayed for a year, moving on to Southport for a season before
returning to his native north-east for a spell as player-coach in
non-league football.
