Popular and pacy left-winger who was picked up on a free from Yorkshire Amateurs after Sheffield United had turned down the chance to sign the Leeds-born player. Played a crucial part in the Leeds side that climbed back up to Division 1 in 1956 and kept his place through three years before being released to Sunderland in 1960.

He is enjoying his retirement playing lots and lots of golf, regardless of the weather. He is keeping well and extremely active. If I can help you with anything else, let me know.
