Jabba's Comments

One of only two men to play for both Leeds City and Leeds United, Ivan Sharpe was a much travelled player who was well-known for his sports journalism and became editor of the Athletic News shortly after leaving Leeds. He was also part of the Great Britain squad that took Olympic gold in the 1912 football tournament and won 12 amateur caps during his career.
