Glynn Snodin signed up for Doncaster Rovers as a 16-year-old and
spent 8 years with the club, clocking up over 300 appearances, many of
them alongside his younger brother Ian. Doncaster parted company with
both brothers at more or less the same time, with Glynn spending a
couple of years at Hillsborough before following his brother to
Leeds. He was a solid and adaptable left back/left winger who wasn't a
world class player but he was reliable, battled hard and always gave
100%. With Tony Dorigo arriving to take the left-back slot, his
chances at Leeds were limited and after a couple of loan spells he
spent a season in Scotland with Hearts before coming back to Yorkshire
for a couple of years with Barnsley.
Jess says: glyn snodin is 1 of the best managers of football and is
a very very nice man, he should be offered a first team managers
position. look how well the reserve team are doing, its thanks to
him.
Colin Boxshall says: I met Glyn at the Sheffield masters
tournament. He is indeed a very nice bloke. We had a nice chat &
he gave me his shirt. It was really great to see him & he had time
for everybody. Top Bloke!!
