Jabba's Comments

Born in London but brought up in the north-west, Stacey joined Leeds as a 19-year-old and provided admirable back-up to Willis Edwards when the latter was out through injury. After 6 years in which he played most of his games for the reserves, he was allowed to move on to Sheffield United, but broke his leg after less than 6 months at Bramall Lane, and although he did come back from the injury, he never recaptured his form or regular place in the side.
