Jabba's Comments

Imre Varadi made just 29 appearances in 3 years at Leeds and was mainly used as a fill-in striker when Lee Chapman or Rod Wallace were injured. He was never the most instinctive of goalscorers, but his record over the years - particularly for Newcastle, Sheffield Wednesday and Manchester City - showed that he did have a good eye for goal, and he always worked for the team. He was released in the great post-championship clearout of 92-93.

Rich says: Best crowd comment of all time around the time of the signing of Varadi by Wilko :- "Never mind Varadi you need bloody Van Basten".

Chis says: All I know is he is the only premier player who had a Hollywood film star as a father

harry dodds says: did imre ever play for glassgow rangers.

Jade Atkins says: I'm looking to get into contact with Imre Varadi or his brother Tony. Any information to help me would be extremely appreciated.
