Jabba's Comments

Successful in Scotland, but yet to really impress at Leeds. Having to follow in the footsteps of the popular but injury-prone Tony Dorigo was never going to be easy and he's clearly no fool, but he looked the least comfortable of Leeds' back line.

His crosses have improved, and he has looked reasonably confident going forward, but we still haven't seen the best of him.

Sponsorship by various members of the Leeds email list in 1997-98 didn't seem to improve his prospects, and injury and competition for places kept him out of the side in 98-99.

His demotion from the Number 3 shirt was inevitable given Ian Harte's hold on the left back slot. His contract was due to expire in summer 2000, but he was forced to retire through injury in March 2000.

In summer 2002 he signed with Montrose as player-coach: it remains to be seen how many appearances he makes for the Scottish side.

gwy says: Now boss of Elgin City, Great player during Rangers 9 IN A ROW a real legend.

Big Scott says: Pick David up al the time in my taxi....he is always raving about Elland Road, Wetherby where he says he lived...near training complex oh and don't forget Glesga Rangers.

Rob Osborn says: was ruddy useless. We were discussing today the worst players they had seen at Leeds and along with Brolin, Strandli, he was in the bottom 5

Kelvin Syme says: hes my third couson met him once in coventry when leeds played cov.
