Jabba's Comments

Tom Casey was picked up from Bangor at the end of the 1948-49 season but didn't realise his full potential until he left the club. He picked up 12 full caps for Northern Ireland and played in Newcastle's FA Cup-winning side of 1955, and subsequently had coaching roles with Swansea, Everton and Coventry before spending 18 months in charge of Grimsby in the mid-1970s.

Robert says: Tom was born in Comber Co Down NOT Camber as noted Has 12 intl caps would have had more but for the fact that he was around at same time as Birtie Peacock Comber is proud of Tom
