Re: Her Game Too
This is the output of a well-educated sexist person whose ideas have been overtaken by changes in society. His two ideas here embody the sexism he claims not to know the meaning of. 1. It's natural for women to have children. That's their biological imposition. 2. I can't really take a woman in auth...

Re: Relegation rivals
I think it is strange that we are focused on the causes of possible demotion as though all about the matches taking place in April and May. Look at the GD of -30 —when I last looked- and it is clear that our present predicament goes back a long time. We have been shipping goals all season, and we ha...

Re: 21/22 shirts
Apart from the colour, I still cannot get used to the idea of our great team parading around in a shirt emblazoned with the initials SBOTOP (if I’ve got it right). Who the hell are these guys? Am I right in thinking that it may be a dodgy internet betting outfit whose HQ is found above a dodgy-look...

Re: How Wrong was I?
Slight adjustment sorry My thinking is that this is what Hugo is saying... Without doubt most people did not agree with the appointment of Bielsa. In my case as an admirer of his, in respect of how he works, of his principles, and of what he demands of the club (he works for) in terms of commitment…...

Re: How Wrong was I?

Re: Time to plan for life after Bielsa ..
I have tried to improve comprehension.... Hello. The continuation of Bielsa as Leeds’ manager will depend mainly on how he assesses the commitment of the squad to his philosophy. Some (players) have criticised in several meetings the fact that the results of matches at this level do not match expect...

Re: The state of ER's pitch
Sorry but maybe I am getting my left and my right mixed up. Surely Michael O’Grady is top left as you look at the photo. I was at school with him and that’s how I recall him.
Re: Nostalgia
That’s where my family all lived. In the Rookwoods to the south of York road and near the Shaftesbury Cinema (sat mornings!) and the pub for the grown-ups, think it was the Nowells, Back Nowell RoadS etc.
Re: Nostalgia
NottinghamWhite’s mention of (Michael I think) O’Grady brought to mind memories of him as a schoolboy player. He played on the wing at national and Leeds level but I remember him turning out there for Corpus Christi School in the mid 50s. A bunch of snotty-nosed kids cheering him on already. A Leeds...
