Re: 2020-21 Transfer Rumours and Squad Discussions

Rodrigo will turn 30 on 6 March 2021. I’ve watched him play for Valencia. He can score after taking down less than perfect balls or pass the ball to players in a better position for a shot on goal than he has. He has the ability to see another player is in a better position to pass the ball to anoth...

Re: LUTV - is it any good nowadays ?

I received this today from LUTV when I asked when and what matches I could see in the US through LUTV:

"We are still in talks with the relevant broadcasters, so please keep an eye on the website to what games will be available and where."

Re: Coronavirus

The Governor of Florida this morning gave a news conference in which he said there are 768 confirmed cases and another 1,000 cases being monitored for infection. I expect that will get worse for several reasons. Spring Breakers were ignoring social distancing and collecting in crowds on the beaches ...

Re: The perfect breakfast Poll added

I voted "None of the Above" because the perfect breakfast is: two fried eggs, a cup of collard greens, two cups of grits in oceans of butter, and one fried green tomato.

Re: What you reading

I’m re-reading “Inverting the Pyramid – The History of Soccer Tactics.” It gives the history of tactics and the history of coaches who changed the game. MB is discussed several times in it. Also reading a volume of poems by Charles Bukowski entitled, “Love Is A Dog From Hell.” The title indicates it...

But it was so obvious last season that there has to be some reason why it hasn’t been done. That said is it due to the fact that we may incur some penalt...

Yeah it blends into that blue to look purple which might be quite magnificent if it creates light streamers while running in the right light --- excuse me while I kiss the sky.

Re: NEW KIT !!

I like it because the advertizement on the front of the shirt is greyed into the background, leaving the eye to be drawn to the prominent shirt color and badge as it should be.

Re: You and Leeds Utd ?

1. I was disgusted with American football (also known as NFL & NCAA throw ball) and started noticing that Public Broadcasting television station showed football matches in what I think was a 90 in 30 format. I first noticed Leeds United AFC in the semi-finals of the League Cup around 1978 or 197...
