The best Watford player on show to my mind was Joao Pedro who worked harder and looked a much more athletic unit. Dennis barely touched the ball. I’m not excited at all by Sarr. He didn’t look as if he had the right attitude.
Leeds live this morning say nothing in Sarr rumours but we are looking at loaning João Pedro.

Sarr is rumoured to get signed by Man Utd, Everton and practically everyone, I never believed for a moment that Leeds were in for him seriously. Also he is a winger, as someone said. Joao Pedro is good, but I wouldn't expect Watford to loan their best player.

I'll venture that there will be no further incoming players this transfer window. :D
Desperately need a proper left back though

"Many clubs are following Ismaila Sarr situation as potential final signing, but there’s no proposal from Leeds United despite rumours "
If we don't sign a left back at a min I think it is a stupid risk.

According to Phil Hay:

"No real movement on further incomings at Leeds United at this stage but in terms of the names linked in the past 24 hours - Mata, Sarr, Pedro all wide of the mark."

Shame there's no truth in the Mata rumour. He might be getting on a bit, but he'd be a good, experienced short-term option in the middle to help develop the team.

I agree, if wages were right could have a Pablo style role.

Some new links emerging overnight.

Apparently in for Philadelphia Union Left Back Wagner for £2.5million.

Also looking at Benefica striker Goncalo Ramos, £30mil fee mooted.

Phil Hay says no signings imminent at either left back or striker. Says doesn't mean signings won't happen but unlikely at this stage.

I think we can manage without a striker if Bamford and Joffy stay fit (big 'if' I know) but we need a left-back right now.

I like Struijk but he's not a full-back.

It reminds me a bit of when we last won the league and Sterland was out and we went into the next season without a right-back and ended up playing David Wetherall and Batty there, and got really exposed. Full-back is a specialist position, I don't think you can make do and mend like that.
