I think cats are a cool animal, I would love to see the North American Bobcat introduced to the UK.
These wildcats, closely related to the Lynx, resemble a massive house cat. Nocturnal hunters, I've seen 2 in 30 years.
The bobcat and the lynx which is now predominately in Canada were one animal until the ice age separated the 'clan' in a east-west line across North America. After the ice melted there were 2 similar, but different animals.
