After trying to earn a crust in the shadow of the theatre of hate for nearly twenty years I suddenly thought I'm cheesed off dealing with unbelievably ignorant, arrogant mancs. I put some stuff on ebay and met a sound lad who turned out to be a fellow white, and at once I felt with I was home.
The first time I bought a ticket for a home game when I had a M14 postcode the young lass in the ticket office asked me if I'd ever been to Elland Rd before. It made me think. If you had to say why you're a Leeds fan to get a ticket, like the nationality test if you want to stay in Britain, what would I say.
I'd try to sum it up in two ways.
1. When I went to Cross Green High (now closed) I would get 50p a day from mi mam for my dinner. I'd get a chip butty from a place near Leeds Bridge for 16p and pocket the change. 5 x 34p would give me £1.70. Bit of pocket money or penny for the guy and a train from Cross Gates (30p), a P2 (30p) and 50p in the boys pen or £1 in the Gelderd (left side of course) am I'm there, ready to watch Aidan Butterworth, Kevin Hurd and the boys whilst joining in a chant of "Adamson Out" with the other 14,238 brave souls getting blown to bits from that gap between us and the Lowfields. Saw us beat Oldham 6-0 once. Pray we don't score if you've got the soup or everyone around you will get 3rd degree burns.
2. I went to the same school as David Batty. I've since been asked if I knew him. No, he didn't play for Leeds & England when he was 11.
So, if any self employed Leeds fans want any print work done I'll do a nice job without ripping you off.
My missis is a Londoner (Celtic fan) and wants us to move to Scarborough. I've convinced her that Garforth is 15 minutes from the sea. Help me live the dream and send me some work. I'm at lymetrees@hotmail.co.uk

Viduka (how many moments of joy)
Noel Whelan
Cheers folks
