33 degrees at 1330hrs here in Leicester. :wtf:
Have battened down the hatches and got the curtains drawn and lounging on my recliner with a long cold drink and a good book. The thought of any hot food is pulling me towards abstinence and pushing me to consider a refreshing salad. Er maybe :lolno:
Maybe chuck another log on the fire later! :D

Mrs SW spotted it in the distance Eggborough direction so probably on way to you, felt about two spots here but nothing really.

A couple of years ago the grandson had a sleep over with us & he can’t sleep without a fan on. We bought him one & it’s been in the attic since until……

Saw EMA got to 36'C today - don't know if that's a record for these parts - but forecast said 38'
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

37.5 in Leicester but it looks like this is it's peak here (not going any higher) according to the local forecast and will plummet to 23 degrees by midnight :shock:
