The highest wind gust ever recorded has been clocked at The Needles on the south coast. 122 mph.
I once played against Don Revie.

Well what a day that was, first red warning for Sussex and plenty of trees and branches down locally in which I reckon were the strongest winds since the great storm of 1987, thankfully we came out of it unscathed, still yellow warnings in place tomorrow.

I was in t shirt, shorts and trainers a few days ago.

It’s snowing heavy here now, on top of a decent amount of snow overnight.

I walked to the shops earlier and was amazed when there was snow in the air, madness only a few days ago we were in shirt sleeves having an Al fresco lunch.

Woke up to a light dusting of the white stuff, snowing quite heavy during breakfast but stopped now and sun breaking through.

Nice to see Spring has arrived :D

This is too hot for me and apparently it’s going to get hotter next couple of days. How’s everyone coping with this heat ?
