This is my first painting for many a year - it's ink and acrylic actually, with a bit of pastel & pencil involved as well.

I like it but I know where all the errors are whereas you don't :P I bought the frame via Amazon and it's sound though nothing to mount the pic with so I had to make my own. I've given this one to a friend and will be working on a version for my own use next time. Currently struggling with a London Calling design.

Nice one, mate - looks good.

And I say that as a non-Hendrix fan.
Never got what all the fuss was about with him I'm afraid.

PS. The image loading problem ?
When I opened your post to edit it, you had used the "URL" button rather than the "Img" button to insert the picture.

No mate, I did the IMG method but it wouldn't determine the Dimensions so I switched to URL.

Thanks though

Actually I'm not a huge fan either of Hendrix but I loved the design which I've made my own version from.

You're so close ..

1. Right click on the image on the hosting website
2. Select "Open in new tab"
3. Copy the URL from the address bar of the newly "naked" image, free from the actual website that's holding it
4. Paste that URL in between the brackets of the "Img" button on here

You should be good to go :)

It's just that last step of removing the picture from the fabric of the website you uploaded it to, that's all 8-)

Yes, and I tried it on two different computers as well

I doubt it WASN'T my mistake but heyho, I'll delve deeper next time.

Just shelved my London Calling idea, thinking of other ideas to paint now.
