The Big Picture - Another 10 games

As promised following on from the thread earlier in the season looking at the big picture based on every 10 matches rather than look at each match individually with the highs & lows.

Well in the first 10 games as you see in the previous thread our record read :-
Won 6, drawn 2, lost 2, goals scored 14, conceded 5, points 20.
Think we all agreed averaging 2points per match would arguably see us promoted.
We also agreed conceding on 5 goals in that period was superb but we all felt we needed to score more.
Well this period we've done even better, must all be smiling at that.
Won - 7
Drawn -2
Lost - 1
Scored - 16
Conceded - 5
Points - 23
Amazing statistics but still a little light on the goals scored, think we should be averaging 2 per game not 1.6.
5 conceded again can only say fantastic.
We lost at Millwall our only defeat (and the only time we've conceded two in a match) but that was all down to a bad referee decision with the penalty and us ending up with 10 men. That really could have been another 3 points but thats football i suppose.
Think these 10 matches have really seen the league open up and its clear to me that along with ourselves West Brom & Fulham are the strong teams and really do think the two promoted teams will come from them. Still plenty of dangerous teams but for me they are chasing play off spots.
For the record after 20 games last season we had 40pts so 3 pts better. However it was this 3rd period we started our blip so we really could be approaching an important period.
So onto the next 10, can we add another 20 pts ?
Hull - Home
Cardiff - Home
Fulham - Away
Preston - Home
Birmingham - Away
West Brom - Away
Sheff Wed - Home
QPR - Away
Millwall - Home
Wigan - Home
Its clear we have two big away games in this batch would be more than happy sharing the points in them. Against that we have 6 home games in the 10 so that could be to our advantage (I hope)
My predictions -
win - 6
draw - 3
loss - 1
score - 20
concede - 8
points - 21
