Didn’t realise that he co wrote the four Yorkshireman sketch. The Goodies were part of growing up for me in the 70’s. RIP Tim.Sniffer wrote:Oh no. Very sad to hear that. He was a local lad here, living in Cookham. When I moved back to Maidenhead in 1982 I joined Winter Hill Golf Club in Cookham, as I had to wait for three years to get in to my first choice club, Sonning. (Waiting lists in those days!) Tim Brooke-Taylor was a member at Winter Hill. Very keen golfer and very good club member, absolutely no side to him. He also did a tremendous amount of charity work locally, Maidenhead, Windsor, Cookham, Marlow. His photo was always in the Maidenhead Advertiser doing charity work. RIP.NottinghamWhite wrote:Tim Brooke-Taylor has passed away.

Someone said he was a Derby fan, just to add nothing at all to this thread.
Yes, he co-wrote the Yorkshiremen sketch which wasn't Monty Python's originally. I remember loving his Court Official portrayal in a Secret Policeman's Ball sketch, superb physical comedy.
