A few years after their peak, but nevertheless one of the great vocal/harmony bands of the 60's.
Talking of harmony a couple of weeks back we went to the stage show "walk right back" which told the story of the Everley Brothers. It was by chance as had previously booked something else and exchanged our tickets. Turned out a real good night.

We are slowly ticking off the stages shows that tell the story of various acts, must be in double figures or thereabouts.

From memory
Jersey Boys (Frankie Valli)
Beautiful (Carol King)
Sunny Afternoon (The Kinks)
Simon & Garfunkel story
Carpenters story
Johnny Cash
All day and all of the night (Small Faces)
Tina (Tina Turner)
Drifters Girl (Beverley Knight in lead role)
Thriller (Michael Jackson)
Get Up Stand Up (Bob Marley)
Walk right Back (Everley Brothers)

That's an impressive list of stage shows SB.
Now we are somewhat learning to live with covid, I have got to get out more.
I do a lot of reading about the history of different musicians and have read life stories and music careers of most of those artists.

I recently watched the documentary ' Herb Alpert Is', one of the best music documentaries I have seen.
Besides his own musical career, he formed A & M records, which unlike most US recording companies, were willing to give a chance to unknown artists, it became a conveyor belt for many famous and familiar names.

Much the same with us we love learning the stories behind the acts irrespective of whether it's the style of music we would normally go for.
Some great documentaries out there

Last week was flicking through the box sets on the TV and decided to watch the 3 parter "Cilla" (Cilla Black).
It was made a few years back and told her rise to fame with the excellent Sheridan Smith in the lead role.
Wasn't sure I would enjoy it but turned out a real good watch.

The Sound of Silence, by any chance, Saxon?

I don't think the YouTube link is working in the new format. Certainly not on my PC.
