The report is in Spanish so I’ll wait for our official translator BB to give us the gist of what it’s aboutALFOXY wrote:https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/ ... a-13435550

Read this earlier (assume we all got to it from the BBC Gossip Column), and it's proper clickbait. It's claiming that he's agreed terms with them and will reject any other offers that come his way (which might be true, hard to say), but also that he'll force through a move to Barca (based on no evidence whatsoever). The article also claims that the same type of agreement has also already been made with Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta and Franck Kessie - again, it's possible, but presenting it as certainty is wildly misleading. All in all it's just a classic piece of media manipulation. If there's any truth in it, it's based on chance rather than insider info.ALFOXY wrote:https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/ ... a-13435550

7If we lose Raph and its still very much a big "IF" I believe replacing isn't as important as some suggest.
We already have two established wingers in James & Harrison who would start the season first choice which would be ok (both are robust and rarely injured). That would allow Summerville to go up the pecking order to 3rd choice wit more opportunities. He's come on a lot this season in my opinion, he's learnt a lot, tracks back well and doesn't run so many blind alleys as he did previously. Keep improving and he'll be a real star, losing Raph may actually give that chance.
Don't step Summerville up the pecking order with added opportunities and we risk losing him, similar could be said about Gelhardt, Cresswell & Greenwood along with maybe Bate & Heljde.
These players are ready to be considered first team squad players, not saying starters but first choice cover certainly.
We could use the money created to replace Raph but its quite likely that Summerville is a better option unless we spend all the money.
In that instance 4th choice (emergency use) would become Poveda or McKinstry but its doubtful if they would be needed as we would also have the option of using Dallas on the wing.
Just think the money could be used elsewhere in the team and benefit us more.
Saying all that its still "IF" and would love to keep Raph

Dear Barcelona,
Have you seen how close we are to relegation? Therefore, losing our star player would cost us £XXX million in lost revenue and TV Deal etc.
Please consider this when making a bid, otherwise sod off.

According to Guillem Balague (Spanish football expert), Raphina has agreed personal terms with Barca but Leeds have told them that a figure will be discussed once the season ends, so we can concentrate on the League.

I wonder if we are going to hear from the Leeds board? also does Raph wanna leave Leeds? as both not forthcoming with either official news on those two questions

Here in Fuerteventura at the moment and it was all over the sport channel about Raphinha and Barcelona.
No idea what was being said, but you didn't need to be a rocket scientist to get the gist.

What official news? It's all gossip, we've all been Leeds fans/supporters for long enough to know that clubs don't respond to gossip.Metro1962 wrote:https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/leeds-united
