Disappointing destinations

On a tour of Guyana one of the highlights was a visit to Kaieteur Falls which is the largest single drop waterfall by the volume of water flowing over it. Imagine our disappointment when all we saw was a trickle of water coming over these impressive falls, four and a half times the height of Niagara Falls. We arrived in two small planes a dozen of us where as now there’s an international airport there with frequent flights from Georgetown. It’s hard to believe that this is now such a major tourist attraction.
