Message to Members -

With the new season fast approaching we are all waiting in anticipation and hope that it will be a good one.
As for this forum, the Mods team are continually looking at improving the forum for everyone.

As you all know we are very much a family friendly forum and such as swearing, insults, name calling of any description is not allowed, the vast majority of members appreciate this. It is always a good idea to read the guidelines and rules if you have doubt (they are in the section at the top of the Home page).

Through the summer months the transfer thread is the epicentre of the forum but have a look around at other sections as there is always plenty going on. You may find something you enjoy, we hope so as that's why we have the forum!

Another nest of activity is the games section which many members enjoy, why not get involved, it's all good fun?

Davy has recently added a new game “Here I Am” using the members map, not easy but a good challenge to those of us that like that sort of thing.

He will also be sorting the Super 6 again which attracts a good few posters.

Myself, I’m tasked with running a lot of the fun Prediction & Gamble Games and currently sorting them for the new season.

One that is already up “Football Handicap” that takes little effort as you just select 4 teams prior to the big KO and follow how they do (no ongoing commitment). So easy one to join, have a go, you can check the rules here - http://www.lufctalk.com/forums/viewtopi ... =13&t=7122

One with a bit more commitment (weekly) is our “Gamble League” a real league with promotion & relegation we currently have 13 members enjoy it and more would be most welcome.
Why not have a go and try climb the Leagues, check this one here - http://www.lufctalk.com/forums/viewtopi ... =13&t=7123

Another new feature this season will be a “Match Report” thread which we will use volunteer reporters from the forum membership.
We are currently building a small group of reporters in the aim of getting a few from different views in each match.
The theory is often Match Reports which many enjoy reading often get lost within debate in the regular Match Thread so both threads will run in parallel.
Check this out - http://www.lufctalk.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7138

In the Football Section of the forum a number of threads have recently been opened to discuss all 5 English divisions.

As I say we want to keep improving the forum to make sure it’s the best out there so anything you would like to suggest or see wrong please contact any of the Mod Team and they will look into it.

Please keep checking around at keep involved.

Enjoy
