Final position: 14th
Star performer(s): Aaronson
Top scorer: Bamford
Hopes/wishes: That our system proves to be exciting to watch, that our press is one of the best in the league and we score a lot from turnovers, which proves to be hilarious because it embarrasses the opposition, and I REALLY hope we manage to beat scum at least once this year.
Fears: That the fears some people have articulated about this system not working in the Premier League are true, that we get found out, Marsch's reign therefore collapses, we end up in a relegation fight and we fall into manager merry-go-around again.

Tough one this season really could go either way.

Final position: 11th
Star performer(s): Koch (seriously think he will emerge as our main defender).
Top scorer: Bamford
Hopes/wishes: Top 6
Fears: Bottom 3

Wow, I like your optimism Yorkfan! Can't say I feel the same, but I'm glad at least some people things will work out. For me:

Final position : Either 18th or 13th (see below)
Star player: Aaronson. He'll be central to Marschball, and I really enjoyed that through ball against Cagliari. Joffy also in with a shout.
Top scorer: Bamford.
Hopes/wishes: That the team gels, a coherent style forms, and we get off to a good start with 3-5 wins out of the first 8 or so matches (13th place finish).
Fears: That the new players and style fail to materialise, and we get off to a bad start leading to Jesse's sacking in December, from which we never really recover given the whole approach is now built around him (18th place finish).

I share your optimism around Koch. He's had a decent preseason and has looked good. Hopefully, he will be played in one settled position and will be able to show us the qualities of a sound German international defender

Final position: 14th
Star performer: Aaronson
Top Scorer: Bamford (please stay healthy)
Hopes: Energy Drink Football becomes a thorn in the side of Premier League opposition
Fears: Too many new faces, not enough skill on the ball, Marsch sacked early, relegation, manager carousel, further dramatic squad overhaul

Just want to add to this, agree with you both, I actually had Koch as my second choice after Aaronson, I am really hoping he comes of age this season, I'm sure he's got the ability.

FInal position: 15th
Star: I hope Aaronson is as good as Mr Marsch thinks
Scorer: Bamford
Hopes: Less bad injuries, better defending as a team, Premier League status confirmed without another relegation dog fight and our young players like Gelhard developing
Fears: Inexperienced head coach, (too) many new players, new system not working... a vicious circle leading to relegation

Final Position 17th .
Star Performer , Gonna be Jack Harrison , just feel this is his year and the new system will suit him.

Top Scorer . Gonna be our well rested Lord Bamford .

Defence is Going to be well leaky , at centre back there is little quality cover for Llorente and Koch , there partnership is finally going to get a run and see how that goes.

Looking forward to seeing Sumerville , Greenwood , Gelhardt. Going to be big players for us this year.

Be surprised if we get much out of Rodrigo to be honest , will be our biggest disappointment.

biggest surprise, if we finish with the same manager.
