Apparently the club have asked if they can rename Thorp Arch in his name

Saw that in Phil Hay's article about the interview with Radrizzani this morning, I hope he agrees.

I really hope so too but some have posted that Wilko who won promotion then the league has had nothing. I really loved MBs time at LUFC but can also see their POV. I rolled with the Wilko era as well.

Wilko bloomin' well created Thorp Arch. Much as I adore Bielsa, this isn't a great idea IMHO.

I might be wrong (usually am!) but didn’t Bielsa have a plan to move the training area closer to ER, hence closing Thorp Arch? If that was true, not sure how he would view the suggestion.

It was the club's intention to do that, but Bielsa would probably have agreed with it, I suspect, as the more-central location would be easier for kids/families to get to.

They want to name something they don’t own and are actively looking to move away from, after Bielsa? Bet he’s delighted…
