Our main problems will arise if Jansson & Wood pick up injuries

We have no other striker who can play the lone-striker role & we'd definitely miss Wood's goals

The thought of Cooper coming in for Pontus could be catastrophic to our season

I reckon we are adequately covered in the keeper/full-backs/defensive midfield positions

Sacko & our class act Hernandez would be badly missed too

Totally agree. Even without an injury, Wood could find himself crowded out if he remains our sole scoring threat.

1) At the time were you happy with Monk's appointment in the summer ?
Yes, seemed to have a decent managerial pedigree, and have potential.

2 Were you happy or unconvinced with Monk's signings up to the Fulham game in mid-August
Monk did manage to address the long lasting issue of a lack of pace in the squad with Roofe and Sacko, but improving the defence took longer than would have been preferred.

3 Were you happy with the 4-4-2 formation/style of play Monk was playing
When playing with a 4-4-2, we were out of sorts and I'm glad we've reverted to a 4-2-3-1, particularly as our squad seems more suited to the system.

4) At what point do you feel our season turned around
Bartley's late winner vs. Blackburn, it gave the team a new sense of belief.

5 Who has been our most influential signing
Pontus Jansson

6 Monk's top 5 most important signings
1. Jansson
2. Bridcutt
3. Sacko
4. Antonsson
5. Bartley

7 Who in your opinion has been the most disappointing signing, a player you expected to make a bigger impression
Matt Grimes

8 Our best player from last season's squad
Charlie Taylor

9) Best young player out of the academy
Kalvin Phillips

10 Our most disappointing player from last season
Charlie Taylor

11 Favourite goal
Pablo Hernandez vs. Cardiff

12 Best game so far
1-0 win over Ipswich

13 Favourite two players
Alex Mowatt and Charlie Taylor

14 Do you think we'll progress to the quarter-finals of the League Cup
Yes

15 Are you happy or still unconvinced with the current squad
Relatively happy. There is still some fat that needs to be trimmed in midfield, and another striker wouldn't go amiss.

16 Where do you expect us to finish now
7th to 12th
