Just making a minestrone soup which will have loads of Parmesan cheese and a french loaf. It’s smelling good let’s hope it’s tastes as good

The wife's 50th birthday today so making a special effort since we can't go out. Did pan fried pigeon breast with mushrooms and spinach on sourdough toast for lunch and have veal escallops in mushroom sauce with baby potatoes and asparagus to make for dinner later on tonight.
Should keep me in the good books for a while.
