My opinion of him has been set for some time now.
We will get nowhere with this guy in charge (we may get relegated actually).
No purchase of ER or TA, no investment into the squad (look at Derby and Boro), 6 managers and counting, divisive court cases proving he is corrupt,
divisive comments about our home grown players, Pie tax..............I could go on and on.
Is it time to turn against him as with Bates?
Will it work anyhow and what can we actually do to get him to sell up?
This is my opinion and yours may well differ from others but SOMETHING needs to happen, we just cant have another decade like the last one.
Comments please:
Is it time to turn on Cellino?
Re: Is it time to turn on Cellino?
My first thought was " If he does it for you, mate ... "

Lol............brilliant
Re: Is it time to turn on Cellino?
Nothing we do will force him to do anything.
He's an obstinate bugger - a proper entrepreneur who's his own biggest fan.
The only opinion he'll listen to is the voices inside his head.
He'll sell when the club's pretty enough to attract another buyer or when he gets bored .. and I suspect it'll be the latter in two or three years.
Until then we have to just try and enjoy the ride .. even if we'll be going nowhere in the process.

Pretty much the sentiment I have regarding Cellino.
LUFC was and is a vanity project for Cellino. He will give to it what he wants to and he will get out of it what he can.
After that he will sell and with any luck, he will sell to an entity that actually has the interests of LUFC and its supporters at their heart!
Lets face it he started out by riding roughshod and sacking McDermott without having the power to do so; then he hired Hockaday! - For me those were two acts of reckless self-indulgence! He initially purchased the club without doing the due diligence! All were hardly the acts of someone who has real concern for what is the best and right thing to do for all concerned!

No, but thanks for asking, especially in the middle of the game.

Thanks for your incisive post mellor, it was actually while we were 2-0 down..............you can lambaste me for not keeping the faith if you wish.
Clearly you feel we need to support Cellino..............as I have said everyone has an opinion.

Good idea!
Turning on the owner and creating a toxic atmosphere is working really well for Charlton and Blackpool!

What is there to complain about? I knew as soon as we lost a game the negatives would start proclaiming we were getting relegated.

Don't think anyone is saying we are going to get relegated but the season is over for us as once again we settle for mid table obscurity. As Rigger says unfortunately Cellino is going nowhere & will only sell when he wants to.
