I was hoping we would sign Ryan Kent as well, on a permanent deal. Also the 2 lads who were supposed to be coming from Inter Milan - I thought the defender was all agreed etc yesterday, but apparently we’re not getting either now! No extra CB signed then. We are very short in that department.

The club have sold players for multi millions of pounds but paid out very little - all loan signings!

No way should the club be in any kind of financial difficulties (FFP?) It would be too much to hope they might be saving funds for a January spree (pigs will fly before that happens!)
You wanted six signings on deadline day on top of the ones already signed - that would have been a massive amount of summer signings.

Realistically we weren't going to get any more, surprised we got two done today. Bielsa likes a small squad so its an improvement on what we have not signing players who won't start. We've sold BPF and got a youngster to replace, we've sold Roofe and got an improved striker. Whilst Kent might have been good not sure another winger would be needed and turning him into a central player may not have worked.

Where did you hear it was agreed ? just one of many rumours is all I read, certainly nothing from either Club.

As someone who's been following England youth teams I have known about Nketiah for a while, though I wasn't sure about him making it to the top until this summer.
But he did very well for Arsenal in pre-season, so much that I am a bit surprised they let him go, because I think he could do well in the Premier League if there was patience for youngsters.
So he is a very good signing, and under Bielsa he could be a real hit.
My only concern is also Bielsa, who is a bit of a stubborn man playing all the same starting XI if he can, so Nketiah could do a Lewis Baker easily, losing all his confidence, but hopefully not.
He looks like a better buy than Kent, though now I would be happier if Clarke stayed at Spurs and we'd brought Kent instead but oh well.

Thanks for that SF didn't know much about the lad until we were linked. Hence only looked him up on YouTube and read what people have said about him.
Fingers crossed

Serious question does anyone know what percentage of transfer fees the tax man takes ?

Its been highlighted we've sold £30mill so suspect he takes a bit from that but some of the numbers in Prem must be keeping the country running.

6 players on loan plus a lad from Carlisle for £250k.

Bates wouldn't have got away with that!
Yep should have kept all of them :shh:

Seriously I think we could only make a argument for 2 or 3 at most on that list to be anywhere near our team (even without the loan signings)

Disappointed that Lewie Coyle has gone back out on loan.
I think he's one who is good enough.

Just saw we sold Oduor to Barnsley for undisclosed fee... was he good enough? I have not seen him many times.

5 on the pitch at any one time I believe but not 100% sure (8 in total in squad)
